BDA Engineering, Inc. is a consulting engineering firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Bert N. Davis founded the firm in 1990 to provide comprehensive HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, LEED design and forensic engineering services.
BDA provides unique and innovative engineering solutions to each project. Our professional staff analyzes our client's needs and proposes multiple design solutions. This approach permits our clients to be an integral part of the design process and gain an in-depth understanding of design options and their associated life cycle costs. Our extensive engineering expertise, engineering software tools and AutoCAD capabilities mean all design and CAD services are performed in house.
Our effective working relationship with owners, architects, contractors and developers is best illustrated by the number of clients who return to BDA for their future engineering needs. BDA Engineering, Inc. is an established consulting firm specializing in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, LEED and forensic engineering services, located in Homestead (Waterfront), Pennsylvania. We are currently hiring for the following positions.
Electrical Designer / Engineer
1–5+ years of experience in commercial, institutional or educational buildings. Knowledge of lighting design, power distribution, circuiting, controls, fire alarm systems, specifications and the National Electric Code. Produce construction documents and perform construction administration (submittal review, RFI responses, punchlists). Well versed in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel; renewable energy design, SKM, AGi32 and/or REVIT experience a plus.
